Would you still eat your dinner if you saw a maggot on it?
That's how I feel about supplements containing certain ingredients. (And that's a big reason why I always ask to see what you're taking—just to ensure you're not accidentally harming yourself!)
Here's my top 8 list of ingredients to avoid* in all supplements (and foods, too!):
1. Seed Oils - Soybean Oil, Corn Oil, and Cottonseed Oil
2. Artificial Sugars (Sucralose, Acesulfame-K)
4. Mono- and Diglycerides (Also known as Trans Fats--which are plastic-like fats)
5. Titanium Dioxide
6. Polysorbate 80
7. Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Benzoate
8. Polyethylene Glycol
Now, I can already hear some of my astute followers saying, "I'd never take a supplement with THOSE ingredients!"
But hold on a second.
I scrutinize supplement labels day in and day out, and I think there are plenty slipping past many of you, especially if you're buying your supplements from big-box stores—like the one that starts with a “C” and ends in an “O”.
I encourage you to check it out!
Supplements should be supporting your health, not adding more toxins to an already often overburdened body.
And truth be told, taking no supplements at all would be healthier than taking handfuls that contain harmful ingredients.
Let me know what you come up with after you check out your cupboards!

P.S. Check out the kids' supplements, too! They’re REALLY scary!!😲😬
*Meaning throw them in the trash! 😃
